Hey guys, little problem here with my daughter's iPhone 11. There's an error message on the screen saying "This accessory is not supported by this iPhone." It showed up when she plugged it into her vehicle.
Problem is, I can't get around it. I click OK and nothing happens. Try turning it off and I can't swipe right to do that because of this error message blocking me. Tried plugging it into other things, unplugging, can't do a force restart because of the same issue above - the button shows up with the slide to power off thing, but I can't access it because the error message won't let me in behind it. Ideas for an idiot?? Thanks. |

Have you tried the force restart with the volume button press sequence? I didn't think you have to swipe the power bar for that one.
I've had that error message pop up before but it disappeared when I unplugged the cable. Die young and save yourself.... @yontsey |

Yeah thanks man, that did it. Oh, yeah I feel dumb.
I had done that and gotten nothing, but I just tried clicking up volume, down volume, then holding the power button down. Kept it down after those buttons I couldn't use showed up, and eventually it restarted. I wasn't holding down the power key and counting to 20 before, apparently. Originally I had tried holding down a volume key plus the power key, and it fucking called 911. All good! Yee haw. BTW fuck new technology. I'm too old and distracted to be fixing this bullshit.
