Just asked Ken and Murray to help with a username change that allowed me to keep my history, join date, PMs, rep points/comments, etc. Thanks, guys.
AN is my only online presence and I think I should go about it a bit more below the radar than I have been. My last name in my previous username was a bit too “identifying”; I should've done this 10+ years ago. Feel free to call me by my new username, variations thereof, or, even better, just Paul. Rest assured, I’m still the same idiot as always. Displayed username is all that has changed. Last edited by psmith2.0 : 2021-09-29 at 11:37. |

Definitely threw me off when I saw that name show up.
Either way, glad to see you're still here. |

Can't go wrong with "smith". Keeping everything else the same should smooth the transition and not be too jarring.

I think it's outrageous to use a pseudonym online!
(PS: not even slightly called Bryson IRL...) |

What's funny is all I saw was ps...2.0 and your messages and knew it was you. Didn't even notice you had the name changed.

I might be high, but it's weird reading threads now. The Voice my brain gave me to narrate the reading of your old name was a SoCal surfer dude.
The role of Voice for this new rendition of p was given to Fred Armison, doing some sort of whimsical and curious foreign pronunciation lesson loop where he goes way up vertical saying the p then a pause then the rest in a southern drawl. But probably just high |

I'm slogging through The Matrix Mr. Smith stuff right now.
Somehow, it fits. And, you're welcome, but it was the Canadian that did all the work. Boy, if I had that button … - AppleNova is the best Mac-users forum on the internet.
