This may be a silly question, but what does it take to hook up an MP3 player that is NOT an iPod (any version) to a MacBook Pro? I have an old Sansa e250 and the software that came with that is just for Windows. I am in search of Mac software to use.
Second question - Can iTunes be used with any other MP3 player? |

iTunes used to support other MP3 players before and during the early days of the iPod... not sure what's still supported today.
If you have a USB cable, I'd say just try it and tell us what happens.  The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. Some MP3 players just mount like an external drive and then you manually drag and drop. I think the Sansa line does that to but I'm not sure.

Looks like I can just use mine as a USB drive of sorts. Nothing showing in iTunes. Sneaky Apple.
