Hey, I was wondering if anybody might remember seeing pics of a super nice personal mac collection that someone posted either here or maybe on that other "mac rumor" site, which I dare not speak the name of but will remind you by saying the word "iWalk"...
It was an excellent collection and displayed really nicely. I really just remember a wall of G3 iMacs in every color. Ring a bell with anyone? If so, can you link it? |

As I recall, the person had several "areas" set up... one area was indeed a sort of lab-type setup where he/she had four or five iMac G3's set up at desks. But he/she also had a wall with a grid-like shelving system like 5 shelves high and maybe the same wide. Each cell in the grid contained an iMac G3/eMac or iMac G4. It was very classy. I believe there were other pictures of similar "grid" systems that contained older machines. The was lots of whitespace in the areas and it was very modern.
I think I saw this a year and a half to two years ago. Too bad it's so hard to search on that other "rumor" site. I looked high and low there yesterday. I read through your link (thanks for posting it) but I don't think that this was it. I'll keep looking and post back when I find it. Last edited by garum : 2005-07-15 at 06:48. |
