Heheh. I was only half serious; I don't think people should stop folding by any means. I just think it's kind of a cool thing, being a space / cosmology geek. Although I went to the download page and AFAICT there is no GUI for this thing the way we have with Increase. Might make sense to wait until it's a more mature thing.

I won't give up on Folding all-together, just thinking I might split my time now that I am about to be humbled / booted clear out of the top 10 and then some. It's been real, fellow top teners. Now I must join the lowly ranks of the Top 20.

Indeed. It sounds very cool...as cool as SETI even, but for now I think I'll stick with the proteins. Real world tangible stuff for now (not that I believe this isn't tangible...just a bit less effective for my contributions....yommv).

I have to admit, it's a little disheartening that all possible SETI encounters have been a bust. I'd be happy even if we got information and couldn't understand it.

A few of us fold protiens for Team AppleNova. It's a worthwhile cause and very easy to contribute. Especially if you tend to leave your machine on 24-7. It's easy. And fun.
