I just realized that I forgot to share you this... My wife is pregant, I'm gonna be daddy (around september 10th)

This will be our first and we are so happy. It took more than 1 year but it finally happened. When she told me I just couldn't believe it. I can't wait to feel it move...

I think in setember I'm really gonna freak out but I'm sure everything will be great

Edit: Lol ! Is this really in Genius Bar ?... Apple Outsider would have been better

What's the problem exactly? Do you have the baby on the AppleCare? Are you suffering a kernel panic? Did you repair your wife's permission?

Congratulations!

Yes, yes and no. Permissions can't be repaired without the appropriate accessories (gift, flowers, ...).

Congrats! It's an amazing experience. Take lots of pictures all the time, because they grow really fast.

Congrats! My son is just over 11 months old and it's been a whirlwind experience! He's already walking, so I need to get the house more baby-proofed.

Haha, I have a similar picture from when everyone was using me as the couch too when my son was only a few months old.

Congratulations, dmegatool. In the blink of an eye, they go from this:

You do sound 'so' excited.

Oh, and Xaqtly, what a *great* pic, with you and the cat and the baby all taking a nap together. I love it.

Thank you all for the congrats... and the geeky jokes

For the sleepless nights I think it will be pretty easy. I go to bed around 12h-1h so I'll be on the night shift. My wife is gonna be on the morning shift as she go to bed around 9h

Nice pic with the bass !!! But now I think he can get to serious thing... give him a guitar

Wow... Well now... there's your challenge. No wonder it took a year!!!

A HUGE congrats, dmegatool, there's nothing in the world like having little ones!

Hey at least if you're gonna start rumors, make them entertaining!

I totally forgot to gave some updates on this. The big day is coming fast. Maybe this week !!! She's at 38 week but the baby is getting big so the doctor want to get it out of there Oh and BTW, and it's a little girl !!!

Here's some ecography. The first one was ssssssooooooooo cool. She was so little that we could see here pretty well. She was "swimming" as we could see little arms moving really really fast and she was spinning On the second one, you can clearly see her little face. Ok ok, not that clearly cause not everybody is able to see it but once you figured it out, it' pretty good.

Around 10 weeks here

Around 30 weeks on this one

The 9 months have been awsome. It's really weird to feel her move, I love it. She has the hiccup like 3 times a day for sure. It's special to feel that regular pulse... Makes me laugh everytime. I'll post some real pic when I'll be able too I can't wait !!!

Congrats man! It is awesome having a growing family. It's hard to believe my youngest is already almost 5 months old. We are also talking about getting ready for our next.

Yes, we decided a name. Maëva.

I don't know how you would pronounce it in english though

Edit: Here if you wanna know how it's pronounced. Just type it in the box and select Isabelle - Canadian french. It's just that with an english text to speech like OSX, it doesn't work at all It's weird to hear it said by a machine, it's kinda choppy. For real, it's really smooth and mellow. But still, it gave you an idea.
