MacBook Pro Software Update 1.2 (for Santa Rosa, 2.2/2.4GHz models) "improves graphics stability", while iMac Software Update 1.3 (for aluminum iMac models) "provides important issue fixes".

Updating my MBP right now, though I do have to wonder about what stability problems this update is supposed to fix. Oh, well...it fixes something, therefore it has to be a good thing, right?

No idea what these are for. I have the new iMac and installed because I trust Apple, but there's no info. The kb article they link you says nothing other than what was stated above.

Anyone know what this is?

Based on what I've read on the net, the updates are for better graphics card performance MBP, and fixing the bug that some people with the new iMacs have experienced in regards to heavy GPU usage and freezing.
