IBM 7094 sings Daisy - Bell Labs 1961
IIRC, there are other reasons for a computer to sing Daisy... AFAIK, its the audio equivalent of a 'hello world' program and traditionally used as the audio icebreaker for speech apps. Seems to me I've heard of this in more than just Bell Labs (although they may have been first). Edit: the interweb sez... Daisy was actually "the first song ever sung by a computer"... at Bell.
