Does anybody here have experience with both Dropbox AND Box.com (formerly Box.net)?

Some folks I know are looking to use one of these two and I'm trying to help them evaluate the differences.

Like many users I have more experience with Dropbox, since they went after building marketshare with a giveaway of free space.

From what I'm reading Box.com is built more with businesses in mind and has more mature technology.

I'm looking for the experience of people who have used both.

I have used both. Box didn't seem as feature rich but worked fine for backup storage. I don't use it at all now really. I still have my account but the sync aspects didn't seem as responsive or work as well as Dropbox.

Not that it's not good, I just had no incentive to move from Dropbox to Box since I've built a bunch of my digital life around Dropbox. For now though, I'm installing Box's app on my MBP to play with it more. I was using it as an archive for my phone.

Also, at this point that will be the third sync app on my MBP. Dropbox, one for my NAS and now Box. I'll let you know more about the differences when I play with it more.

I had to use Box about 4 years or so ago and was not impressed at the time, but it appears to have been improved markedly. Dropbox has been easy to use with others, but it doesn't have a lot of granular security control.

I've been reading up on these and it is said that Box is considered to be the more secure platform, it can be customized with company graphics, it offers built-in Office 365 web apps, and several more features.

Wondering if anyone else has experience between the two?
