I'm embarking on a modest project on the Minecraft server, and in attempting my usual method of brush clearance found that fire doesn't seem to ever go out, burn up its fuel or spread. Is that turned off on purpose, or is it due to a laggy connection?

Shouldn't be off. Should be able to burn like normal and eventually go out.

Brad turned fire spread off for me a couple of weeks ago because I was terrified of lightning burning up Mothra.
I didn't know about the infinite burn thing though... probably goes out when it rains I'm guessing? You could turn it back on T, so long as we have backups in case all of that wool goes poof. So it goes. |

Oh yeah… I guess we should have mentioned that!
I'm happy to turn fire spreading back on, and I'll probably do that in just a few minutes. In hindsight, the concern about Mothra was probably a touch overblown because rain is consistently good about putting out lightning fires as long as it's not in a desert biome. And it's back on now. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Usually, this does not happen. perhaps because of the delay, but it seems like this function of burning can be turned off.

Yes. Perhaps we could institute a new rule/script that prevents posting links until a user has posted X times?

In hindsight, I never should have applied so much RUB·A535 to my inflamed, over-used asshole. It didn't help with the prolapse, and actually added to my discomfort.

Hey Asshole,
If you're going to Spam us, you could at least be polite and put your spam links in your body text instead of pretending I did it. Sincerely. Me |
