I think the radio stations in iTunes are kind of weak. Sometimes I want to listen to old-school, up-beat Jazz, other times some Jungle from the mid-90's. I like all types of music and iTunes is pretty limited. Live365 sucks, so if there is somewhere better post it here!

wunc.org is my favorite internet stream by far. Lately it seems to be down.
I often find myself listening to the somafm streams, too. |

Oh yea, thanks for reminding me about SomaFM. I will try the other one too.

I am a HUGE fan of flashbackalternatives.com (which IS on your iTunes radio btw). They play music you never heard before from artists you have, mostly 80's/90's stuff (hence the "flashback" appellation).

I've been listening to the program archives on the BBC lately. Especially Melvyn Bragg's In Our Time series:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/history/...me/index.shtml Although the streaming server seems to be down quite a bit or they limit the number of times you can listen per day. |

KPLU.org - Pacific Lutheran University (believe it or not)
Best Jazz within 1000 miles. Decent Blues stream too. Sadly, only available in Real and WMP formats... but good enough music, knowledgeable jocks, and NPR news to be worth slumming players for. For days I'm more geek than hipster, Houston Chronicle has a Real stream of International Space Station Live Audio, or perhaps more space sounds from here or there in the interether. |
