Who manufactures the iPhone touch screen? I know it's Apple's technology that runs it, but I'm curious who actually manufactures the touch screen and if they also manufacture the touch screens of all these iPhoe look-a-likes that have been popping up.

According to this, a German company named Balda is reported to be Apple's touchscreen supplier for iPhone.
Of note, Balda's Malaysian subsidiary seems to be producing an iPhone competitor. Last edited by splacid : 2007-02-28 at 17:58. |
