My favorite part of that picture is the random cocktail umbrella. It's like a special little "Where's Waldo?"

Jeez... how many Star Wars chicks does a Festivus pole need? I count three, maybe four. Not sure if that's a Leia-disguised-as-Boussh figurine or something else in the brown/grey.

Merry Christmas to all.

As a day set aside to celebrate God's love for all Mankind, let us remember that love is not best shown by expensive gifts or fancy meals, but by simply reaching out with kindness and grace to those all around you.

I pray the blessings of the Lord on the entire 'Nova family. Enjoy whatever traditions you keep on this day.

I see slave Leia, white outfit Leia (from "A New Hope"), a brown-robed Jedi(?), Boba Fett and, to the left of him, Artoo and Threepio. I also see (I think) Queen Amidala.

May the Festivus be with you...

Happy Christmas everyone! It's past the 21st and 23rd but I hope everyone had a joyful solstice and Festivus too. But I'm not going to lie - the mid-winter holiday I'm most excited for is New Year's, and I hope everyone enjoys the last days of 2008 and the first of 2009.

I just realized that this is the last year everyone's going to be able to get those funky "2009" glasses, with the eyes in the zeroes. Unless in 2010 they put the one over the nose. But that's look weird.

and i guess i've known it all along / the truth is, you have to be soft to be strong
