QuickTime Pro is actually included with the standard QuickTime download. In order to unlock the "Pro" functionality (which inexplicably contains features useful to consumers like fullscreen viewing), you just need to enter a registration code in the QuickTime preferences. Just look for a QuickTime Pro serial number and enter it.

I think it's retarded to have a default media player that, on every startup, the very day you bought a new computer, tries to sell you software.
Why isn't the QT Pro functionality in iMovie or Final Cut Express instead of glued on a player? |
