I want to connect to my old computer, so I can transfer files. But when it says my password is incorrect whenever I try to login, on either computer. Its my system password that I am supposed to be entering, correct? Sorry for the noob question. My brain isnt working right latley.

It should be the password that the account on the other computer uses to log in/authenticate/etc. If you have different usernames or passwords on the two computers, be sure you're entering the one that is stored on the other computer.
Also, have you tried using the "short username" instead? See System Preferences -> Accounts (again, on the computer you're trying to access, not your local one) for the account's short username. I'm glad you worked it out.
For future reference, what exactly was the problem? |
