I am so disappointed over this story:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2419079 As a former 1980 grad of USC, I have been loving the return of big time USC football the past three years (sans that damn Rose Bowl this year .) It is almost impossible to kill the recruitment train that feeds a great college football program until some one does something stupid, and the next thing you know, you have a NCAA voliaiton and the top recruits stop goign there. Pete Carroll has done a fantastic job. . . I hope for his sake and USC this story turns out to be a smoke screen. But I am guessing where there is smoke there is fire. |

One way to kill the recruiting train is to take away scholarships and strip awards, which is what USC deserves in this case.
The Bush family isn't even trying to provide a defense, it's blatant and the NCAA needs to step up. This cannot be allowed. |
