After many hours of trying to get my MacBook to connect to my newly purchased Airport Express, i had to admit defeat and try another day. The next morning i managed to connect my Wii system and my Imac but my MacBook which was right next to my Imac just would not work. again i get up and moved to another room, to my surprise it works fine??

So basically having my MacBook next to the Airport Express and next to my connected Imac, my MacBook wont work, but if i walk away from the Airport it works fine??

Im really confused about this and i cant used my favorite chair, Boo for me.

Has anyone heard of this or experienced something similar??

Thanks

Does it work next to the AirPort Express when the iMac is off?

I believe the Airport utility has an option for a maximum number of clients (connected devices), if I remember correctly. You may want to double-check that setting.

It also sounds like it could be an interference issue, then. Would it be possible for you to move the iMac (or Airport) to another room?

On the topic of Airport Express, I have an Airport Extreme (n) and I want my Airport Express (b/g) to extend my wifi.
But whats the difference bewteen Relay and Remote and which one should I use to extend my wifi from Airport Extreme.
I also want a printer connected to Airport Express
