Have been getting this error alot recently in QT7 Pro
QuickTime cannot open the file: "xyz.qt" the end-of-file was reached (-39) Most recently with this link - http://pulsar.esm.psu.edu/Faculty/Gr...photo_m480.mov Anyone have similar? |

Try downloading it again? It opens fine here.
Note: Safari 1.3/2.0 seems to have an odd quirk where it sometimes won't force a download to actually start if it thinks you've already downloaded it. Clear the Download window and caches and try it again. The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. Very odd. Have downloaded again (cleared caches) from scratch - still doesn't work. Error occurs when saved with .mov suffix - when saved as a .qt file it simply won't open - no error message, just nothing. Very strange - I'll need to investigate
edit: works Ok if URL entered in QT and file downloaded and saved. Doesn't work if downloaded in Safari then saved. Last edited by Franz Josef : 2005-05-21 at 11:15. |
