Have been getting this error alot recently in QT7 Pro

QuickTime cannot open the file: "xyz.qt"
the end-of-file was reached (-39)

Most recently with this link - http://pulsar.esm.psu.edu/Faculty/Gr...photo_m480.mov

Anyone have similar?

Try downloading it again? It opens fine here.

Note: Safari 1.3/2.0 seems to have an odd quirk where it sometimes won't force a download to actually start if it thinks you've already downloaded it. Clear the Download window and caches and try it again.

Very odd. Have downloaded again (cleared caches) from scratch - still doesn't work. Error occurs when saved with .mov suffix - when saved as a .qt file it simply won't open - no error message, just nothing. Very strange - I'll need to investigate

edit: works Ok if URL entered in QT and file downloaded and saved. Doesn't work if downloaded in Safari then saved.
