I've got 3 users on my G5. Myself, my wife and another user. My wife and I are setup as Admin users and the third account is setup as a regular user.
The problem is my wifes account can't print from any app, add photos to iPhoto, install programs, install OS updates, install printer drivers, etc... I've tried changing her from Admin -> regular -> Admin I've ran Disk Utilites and repaired permissions I've ran Tech Tools to fix problems Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? |

Sometimes drivers and/or apps are installed such that only the user who installed them can use them. Usually the installer asks you if you want everyone to be able to use the program.
When I was a kid, people who did wrong were punished, restricted, and forbidden. Now, when someone does wrong, all of the rest of us are punished, restricted, and forbidden... and the one who did the wrong is counselled and "understood" and fed ice cream. |

Fulmer,
I would remove her account and allow it to make the backup DMG file of her documents, then readd her account, restore her files, and see if that doesn't fix it. |
