Since about age 10 I have worn boxer shorts as underwear, scoffing at tight, uncomfortable, and stigmatic briefs. However, the truth of the matter is... Boxerbriefs = ftw.

discuss.

edit: just be sure to get a good pair that is sized correctly for you(taking the bits and pieces into account), they can still be constricting, but when they fit, they fit and it's a joyous thing.

Are you saying "boxer briefs" or is the above some sort of mathematical equation:

Boxer minus briefs equals ftw.

And I don't know what ftw means, so I'm really of no help.

I wear boxers, and have for about 17 years now (I know everyone was dying to know that).

This is true. Briefs make me feel like a six year old and boxers make me full like an old fat lonely dude. But the hybrids are just right.

Edit - This is in response to WRAO's post, not Mr. Scates. Boxers are weird.

Funny that, I actually paused before posting for a good 2 minutes while I considered the possibility that someone would interpret what I wrote as some sort of mathematical equation. I figured geekspeak would prevail and I would dodge the bullet, but here we are, the 1st response already encroaching the issue.

I will edit my post. But for the record. I intended it as a hyphen to connect the words Boxer and Briefs, additionally ftw means "For Teh[sic] Win", and is typically used all over the internet to express things that are made of win and awesome.

Oh yes. Nothing but boxer briefs for me. There was a time in my life where boxers were the standard, but nowadays it's all bb. Calvin Klein and Champion are my brands of preference. Both wrap my package nicely.

So it goes.

I bought a pair of Boxer Briefs and haven't looked back. They are like bicycle shorts, go down to above the knee, but are tight like briefs.

I look hot in 'em frankly.

Ayup, that's basically all I wear anymore, unless it's really damned hot out, and I revert to the wee bikini briefs.

Well, that and thongs to parties.

Good parties.

I have become such an undie snob that not only have I switched to boxer briefs, but I have switched specifically to square cut boxer briefs. They're sometimes called athletic cut briefs too, I think.

In other news, women are hot in boy briefs.

i am a huge boxer briefs fan....and i don't want to be because i hate to be sucked into the whole fashion world of underwear...

but dang, they fit nice...boxers are just too baggy and let "parts" move a bit too much for me...briefs are just too freakin ugly and tight and just grandpaish for me

so it's boxerbriefs or commando for me

the thing that always bothered me about briefs is where the elastic leg hole ended was always in the best spot to make you itch. For me, it's about comfort, not fashion. As fashion, I actually think they're a bit odd.

I'm surprised to hear so many wear the hybrids... I can't stand them. Boxers all the way, if they feel too baggy then you need baggier pants! Get with the times man! ... or something...

hehe but no, really, i can't even feel the boxers under my pants. as one they are.

The Calvin Klein ones are great. At first, I thought the premium one would be paying is just for the brand name, but no, they are outrageously comfortable.

I had been wearing Calvin Klein boxer-briefs since high school. Black, always black. No, not the same ones. Recently I had a little bit too much to drink and jumped off a jetty. The ocean is still very cool and I needed dry clothes. I went to Target and bought the house brand. They fit better IMO. At a quater of the price and more comfortable, I've switched.

Just don't ever try the 2xist ones.

A lot of the underwear at target looks more like panties the briefs, again, IMO. Maybe you should try that Kick.

I love this time of year when I'm usually in cargo shorts (loose and baggy). Today, for instance, I'm in boxers and khaki cargo shorts (with 722 pockets, I think) and it's the closest I can get to naked freedom without getting slapped or hauled off to the jail.

A great feeling, that freedom "down there". Extremely comfortable. I don't like being gripped or pinched (not by underwear, anyway).

Boxers. I don't like the feeling of the briefs, I've never tried boxer briefs, but they seem to be the same thing as briefs but with longer legs. I like having a bit of freedom down there, I think I'd feel restricted in them. All that, and being a swimmer and biker, I've got my junk stuffed into speedos and bike shorts enough, I like having the freedom when it's available.

Come waste your time with me
