It's funny to people who follow what's going on with Apple and the enormous amount of rumors that fly around in the days and weeks leading up to a "Stevenote."
....which means pretty much everyone in here. |

Last night on 60 minutes, Jobs was the topic of conversation with Sony's Howard Stringer, Leslie Stahl kept waving an iPod in his face saying "this killed the walkman", then they showed bits of the keynote when it was introduced.....I think Jobs may not be as famous as Bill Gates, but he's not far behind. I think Jobs got more magazine covers than Gates last year.
But I'm pretty sure most readers of Foxtrot know who Steve Jobs is, Bill Amend has a huge geek following, and everyone knows he's a Mac guy. here's his webpage if you scroll down you can play foxentration, beware it's addictive for an afternoon or two. "What's a Canadian farm boy to do?" |

Edit: Here's the link to the main paige with all of the FoxTrot comics with Apple (or iFruit..haha) references. http://www.giantmike.com/ifruit.html (Caution: There's a lot of them. More than you'd think) Last edited by kieran : 2006-01-09 at 16:00. |

I know I'm bumping an old thread, but this is the best place for it. I saw this one this morning and just had to share.

haha that's hilarious! I was not expecting Kernel Panic at all! wow that's pretty mac specific i'd be very very surprised if any windows users understood that joke.
Unfortunately enough Mac users do. I had a Kernel Panic yesterday when I popped in a dvd. I was not happy, and i subsequently backed everything up just incase. I always always hated that screen, it brings back bad memories of when my RAM got corrupted and kept clearing my hard drive. |
