I continue to witness the spread of fabric coverings on external hard drives and power banks.

Are we talking about fabric storage/carrying cases (because I'd kinda expect that)? Or the actual surface/skin on hard drives from Seagate, WD, etc. being fabric? I can't really find such a thing via Googling.

Or are you PUI again, typing whatever pops into your (drunken) mind? Because it wouldn't be the first time, would it?

What you don't want a pillowcase to keep your external HDD safe from bumps when the cat knocks it off the table?

And how about this Anker power bank, covered in FABRIC????

WHAT IS GOING ON?????

Fabric.

In what world is a material destined to pill and stain a useful cladding for a piece of technology bound for the hands of cheetoh-eating computer nerds???

So I’m waiting for the news story about the fabric powerbank that gets hot enough while charging for it to catch fire and burns a house down.

Yeah, that’s an odd choice of material for things that might get hot. But maybe it’s some kind of special not-hot-getting fabric tailored for such (unasked for) use.

If you could see some of the repairs we do, you'd know just how close to the mark you actually are.

From the website above:

Quote:
An Agile coach serves as a catalyst to the agile team by facilitating agile thinking and empowering the team to reach their goals through improved team practices. By providing focused guidance, the coach enhances awareness of the business goals and objectives, meanwhile acts as a teacher, facilitator, mentor, team builder and planner all at once. The Agile coach fosters a culture of agile-lean thinking and ushers in positive change by changing the organizational culture and redefining the work paradigm to reflect an agile mindset.

I have to say though, I don't get the idea of fabric on devices like this. The Surface keyboard was like that. I don't know that it was fabric, but it was a great example of good on paper...
