Ok, heres my query. When I have finished writing a Pages document, I want to save it to the HDD. But I also want to save to my USB stick, as well as to my external. All in one fell swoop. Is there a way to save to all three at the same time within Pages?
Cheers. |

No I've never seen it in any app, but Pages is the only one that I need it in (although photoshop would be good as well). I'm actually quite surprised that it hasn't seen the light of day really, it seems like an obvious feature, especially since we're always being encouraged to backup our work.

Sounds like the kind of thing you could use folder actions for. You can create an automator action to copy the files wherever you need to. Attach this to folder on your HD where you save the files. Now whenever you save the file, it'll be copied.
(See help pages in Automator, "Running a workflow as a folder action"). |

That's precisely what I first thought. What would be nicer is if a folder *hierarchy* could be monitored.
