Shaun of the Dead. Think 'Dude, Where's My Car?' meets 'Dawn of the Dead'. I have been waiting for this to be released here for two years. Hallelujah. Do vegetarians that get turned into zombies stumble around going "Grrrraaaaaaaaaaiiinnnnnssssss...." ? |

RHI that the 'Merican trailer pushed the comedy much harder than the overall tone of the movie, or the British trailers.
Dunno. Duncare. Gonna see it. Rahr. |

Girl: "He's (a zombie) still my husband. I've still got the ring on my finger."
Talk show host: "..You go to bed with it??" That does look pretty funny. I don't give a crap about regular zombie flicks, but I'll probably check this one out. Last edited by BarracksSi : 2004-09-13 at 12:36. |

The talk show host is actually a talk show host in the UK (Trisha). Quite a few other cameos from UK telly regulars, including at least one newscaster.

I'll probably see it...maybe download, we'll see, but it doesn't seem like a wonderful commedy, didn't care for any of the Scary Movies though.

Don't think comedy, think gory zombie flick with a couple of doofuses trying to survive. It's actually quite dark in places, and downright horror in others.

Where it's just a regular movie, more or less, except there are zombies. I think that's a great concept, I don't care to see an ACTUAL zombie movie that just happens to be liberal with the humor. oh well, I still want to see it. |

Well in that case, think romantic comedy... but with zombies.
Really, this one just refuses to fit into any nice bin you can think of. |

Is it still advertised as a "rom-com-zom movie" ?
