Hello
Has anyone ever used a Booq 14" PowerSleeve with their 15" PB?
Any problems?

Here is Booq's description:

The PowerSleeve14 offers the best combination of features of any ultra-compact bag for the 14" iBook, 15" PowerBook or 14" laptops of equivalent size. It is more rugged, more protective and still one the most compact transport for your laptop.
Please note: This product provides a snug fit for the 15-inch PowerBook G4. Many customers prefer a tight fit and the PowerSleeve14 would be the preferred choice vs. the PowerSleeve15, which leaves some room for a magnazine or two inside the laptop compartment.

PB size: 13.7"L x 9.5"W x 1.1"H
Booq size: 13.5"L x 10.5"W x 1.4"H

Thanks in advance.

I got one of them when I got my PB15. What can I say?..

The fit was tight to start with (seemed about 1/4" too short) but that seemed to get better as things flexed/stretched etc. The pocket on the front flap is great for the DVI-VGA adapter, USB stick and a set of headphones.. Build quality seems good etc.

Protection was OK I suppose. Not great as it is not very rigid and the sides are pretty thin. More protection than just fabric but I was still a bit worried about putting it in the overhead lockers on a flight.

I have since bought a Vyper M for my laptop and use this most of the time. The Vyper fits into my other bags a bit better (no handle) and seems a bit sturdier (and looks better, IMO).

Drop me a PM if you want more info.. I'd recommend both - but the Vyper seems to fit my needs better.

What bag do you place your Vyper M into? Any recommendations?

Not sure I'm an example to follow - it's not really laptop/Apple-specific. It spends most of its time in a Bergaus rucksack or a Samsonite briefcase depending how smart I need to look and whether I'm on the motorbike.

I see. Guess I can use any bag or brief slightly larger to place the Vyper into.
