Hi Guys,
I've had this dilemma for months and months now. I never installed Flash on my last Mac because at the time there was so much hoopla about it sucking resources etc, Apple saying Flash was evil or something like that. Problem is, about a month ago, I moved to Firefox and have found it to be the best browser I've ever used for my needs - certain add-ons not being available elsewhere. Even Chrome. From a battery standpoint, I'm not concerned about Flash because I'm always connected to the mains anyway. I just wondered if the Flash thing was over-hyped? Is it safe to install on a MAC. There is still so much content out there even on main news sites like the BBC that simply will not play without it. Vimeo also requires Flash. Does anyone on here have it installed and could offer me any advice? Regards |

I use Chrome when I need Flash things, but don't have it installed across all the browsers.

Anyway, I've installed it now. If it doesn't work out, there is an uninstaller on Adobe's site. |

Just install the Click to flash extension in your browser of choice and only use flash when you need it.
