I have an Apple TV 2 (A1378) and 3 (A1427). I have no use for them but don't want to throw them away. Would anyone actually want these or is there a "drop it off at Apple" thing for these?

There are still plenty of people without 4k TV, just sell them.

The only issue with selling them is that I have to deal with the transaction. I just don't really want to mess with that. I think I saw one of these would go for about $25. Not that I couldn't use $25, but questioning the effort going into that.

I have a previous generation Apple TV and it stopped working well. Video stutter. The OS hit EOL or something?

Nonetheless, I need to plug it in, make sure I'm logged out, then consider selling it on eBay.

Wipe them first, then donate them to the local goodwill or to a family member. I have three older ones. One I am going to use for some classes I have started teaching (Airplay!), another I will give to my mom, and the third I'll keep as a backup. Never know!

I have an older AppleTV that lives in my travel bag. Get to a hotel, plug it in, and voila, all my usual content.

I still have one of those old things around, too. I have yet to experiment with my new one to see if I can sync over movies from my iTunes library.

My aunt wants them so she gets them. I often forget how my "antiquated" tech is very relevant for others.
