Is that OK for my Macbook? I currently have the 256x2 config which runs really too slowly for my liking...will I be able to stick one of those in with a 256 in the other no probs? I know you aren't supposed to mix sizes, but it will be OK right?

Yep, that's the one. And mixing sizes is no problem; it merely takes away a performance benefit.

Yep. I always tell people who are installing notebook memory that if they don't feel like they're breaking it, they're not pushing hard enough.

That brand of RAM you bought is the same brand I always buy. I'll be picking up a gig of that in the Spring. Good choice.
