I'm installing windows with Boot Camp for the first time in my macbook pro... but the Boot Camp assistant formats the partition to Fat32, which I can't install Windows 7 to. help?

After Boot Camp formats the partition, when you run the installer, you should be able to reformat that partition (and ONLY that partition) to NTFS to allow the install to continue.
The Boot Camp instructions, which really should be printed out or otherwise available during the install process, tell you which partition you can reformat (and which ones should be left alone). |

Doesn't matter. Tell Windows 7 to reformat the partition. Check steps 9 through 11 at this walkthrough.

Thanks guys, they just had the format option hidden in windows 7 and I didn't see it the first time through.
