I'm a fairly new Apple user having bought a Powerbook about 5 months ago (loving it). This is the first Apple I've purchased since the IIc!
Anyway, I'm looking for a good project management tool similar to Microsoft Project, but it doesn't need to be that sophisticated. Create timelines, resources, milestones, gantt charts, etc. I looked at Gantt Project which is decent, but I'd really like something in Cocoa if possible. Would this be Filemaker Tasks? Doesn't need to have every bell and whistle, but needs to work well and be fairly intuitive. Suggestions? |

I suggest looking at FastTrak Scheduler from AEC Software (http://www.aecsoftware.com), this PM tool will run on OS X, Windows, and Palm. Its MS Project compatible (XML format) and they have an MS Project convert for Project files not in the XML format.
I purchased it about a month ago and I'm still exploring all its features but have been using it on a regular bases to manager a number of projects that include cost data, WBS, Gant charts, etc. |
