I haven't found a twitter client I like better than Twitterriffic (at least on the iPhone). There are some features it's missing compared to the others, but from what I have read recently about 2.0, it's going to remedy that. Either way, it's my most used app. In fact, I about 30 min ago I got the error that I went over the API usage limit since I kept refreshing during the inauguration.

90% of statistics can be made to say anything 50% of the time.

I've set up another account to try and get a personal blog up and running.

It's under a name I've used for my writing and things since I was about 8, and that's what domain I've registered.

So, if you get a 'following' email from 'Shamus McCormick" it's really me, but I'm trying to use that one strictly for use with my website. It's probably going to be confusing as hell, but w/e. I'll try it.

You're going to get a lot of followers from this thread alone.

You should go through and follow everyone who posted theirs as well.

Thanks for the add! I most certainly will. I like people and I like to have friends, even if they are internet friends. I think it is good.

The girlfriend is disappointed that so few folk are following her on Twitter; http://twitter.com/Fishscientist.

I'm http://twitter.com/beardedmacuser, although I really don't tweet often. I just like to read other folks tweets.

I love twitter. I mildly enjoy seeing what others are doing, especially those out of the city, but it also helps for organizing things knowing what others are doing.

However, twitter is great for the fact that I can keep tack on what I have done over the years. Sometimes I really need to know what I was doing during a specific time period and twitter (in edition to retroactively editing my iCal) gives me a very accurate picture. Better than a diary, I rarely state much other than facts of my current situation, that and I know it's public and never say anything incriminating.

Retired 8 years ahead of schedule.

I started doing this a few years ago when I wrote a script to automatically post my AIM away messages to a Blogger blog. Now, of course, AIM has been replaced by Jabber, the script broke when Blogger changed their API, and Twitter came out, but the principle still stands. It's an interesting thing to do, and even more interesting to go back and read.

I've taken to searching for things that I'm involved/interested in, such as Philadelphia and my school, Drexel U, and seeing what others are tweeting about.

A lot of times, I've known what people are talking about or whatever.

I've added a lot of people just by doing that.

So, I'm trying it again. An iPhone client might be the key - it is for Facebook. @bryson

I'm big on Twitterrific on the iPod touch and the Mac. Both work great for their platforms, and it keeps me connected all day. Although sometimes I have to close it during really high-volume times to get anything done.

I'm a big fan of Tweetie on the iPhone and Twitteriffic on the Mac.

It does get addicting at times, but I have yet to close it. I just skip some tweets if I'm behind.

Just going to bump this thread again. It's been a while, so maybe some others here have jumped on the bandwagon.

I've been tweeting a lot recently, mostly about the Philadelphia Phillies. I know it's not what everyone wants to read, but I tweet about other things as well.

I know a few of you here have stopped following (haha )but I kind of expected that.

I just wanted to see if anyone else was on Twitter.
