IT'S DONE!
Well, almost! I've got my iBook, keyboard and mouse along wity my broadband modem and router set up, tomorrow I'll finish the desk (I didn't build the actual drawers tonight.... this thing was a real BIOTCH to build and I was worn out) and get my cd shelf and other stuff set up on it. |

When the Creatures first came out you could get them from the JBL store in a blue limited edition, I don't know if that's still the case, but my wife got me those. Actually Garageband made me get my guitars out of their cases for the first time since I've had kids. "What's a Canadian farm boy to do?" Last edited by SKMDC : 2005-11-13 at 08:41. |

Yup... although I have to say, that's the most detailed blog entry about assembling a desk I've ever seen.

Holy sex on a stick, I love this thing. I got the iBook, but it's going back. One burnt out USB port, a poorly seated battery, and a lousy display. I'm gettting a Powerbook instead. |

I just got my S-Video adapter on ebay. Its defective but if I have the wire held the right way it works. I bought it on ebay anyway so I can accept it. Text looks like crap but iTunes visualiser and movies look great.

pmazer, do you have that second display setup as a vertical extension of your desktop? If so, that's bizarre.

It looks like it. You can see the bottom edge of the browser window on the iBook's built in display.
