Dude you've started a trend! Bless you for making the American Parade -a perennially boring and contrived institution- fun again!

What I really want to know, is how you avoided bumping into things? There appear to be no eye holes. (And I note, like father, like son in the anal fixation department. My dad used to call his ginormously loud farts, "bombers".) |

He's the guy who played "disappointed man" in Beverly Hills Cop 3, I thought everybody knew that. I always try to remember to whistle the Axel F Theme whenever I think of him.
I always fail. CC, we DID have eyeholes and you can kind of see out of them... end up using your buddies as "curb feelers" to warn you of curbs, potholes, sleeping bums, stairs, escalators, elevator shafts.... etc. The real problem is DRINKING through the eyeholes. Beer bottles work fine through the eyeholes... drinks with long straws are bad because you might keep jabbing your friend in the nose until he starts to laugh so hard that when he finally gets a mouthful of rum he loses it and does a spit-take inside his helmet. That sometimes happens. |

You HAVE to see these shots... Shot #1 on Flickr Shot #2 on Flickr And then... Holy crap!! Our friend Elliott snuck off and actually BUILT one for this year!!! |

Drew - any chance that you can host these photos on your website, as opposed to Flickr please? (China has not been liking Flickr of late - and I'm not a Firefox user ... apparently there is some hack for it to enable viewing of images hosted on Flickr.)

Thanks Bryson.
MacPro Darth looks great! I also love how it's OK in the Imperial Army to carry url advertising on box trooper uniforms. Cool. And one of the troopers is wearing some mighty platforms it appears ... perhaps Luke himself? "Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?" |

Yeah, he did an AWESOME job of it!!
A girl came up to take our picture and she told us that she worked for Apple... maybe just at an Apple store, but I'm sure it'll get sent 'round to all the Mac folks~ Not at all!!! They're not on my Flickr account anyway, those are from people who were along the parade route. Look for more to pop up over the next month or two as people get back to their machines~ |

Future character suggestions:
- Sandpeople - C3P0 (find some gold tin foil?) - Boba Fett - Han Solo frozen in carbonite |

Drew - No worries about linking to other people's photos and not posting them in here. I can fully appreciate that. Note, that like 709, I'm not signing up for a Yahoo! account though. |
