I'm having the darnedest problem getting Address Book to dial out using my new Motorola PEBL, something that was dead easy with my 4 year old T-616.
I have successfully paired the two devices for use with Bluetooth File Exchange, but when I'm inside of Address Book and click the Bluetooth icon, the app wants me to select the device I'd like to pair with... so I select the PEBL from the list and in a moment it says that I've successfully paired the devices. The blue glow emanates from the Bluetooth icon in Address Book but as soon as I click on anything in that app, the glow goes away and there's no connection present between the computer and the phone. Is there a setting in the preferences that I might be overlooking? |

Is it compatible? I know my old motorola 710 was compatible but when I got my sidekick3, I found out it's not compatible with apple's. Just a thought.

Well, I'm able to sync it to Address Book and I'm able to navigate its files using the Bluetooth File Exchange, so I figure that it is indeed compatible.....

Fair enough. I was just curious because I know my sidekick would show up on the Bluetooth device section, but wouldnt transfer any of the information from iCal or the Address Book.
