Well, I may be the only one who cares, but...

I finally spent more than five seconds with an iPod photo this weekend, and tried playing a bit of Solitaire (the only game I really play on my 3G).

Whenever it's time to go back to the cards in hand on the older iPods, it's pretty easy to just scroll all the way to the left, and the cursor stops right there and won't continue.

I tried that on the iPod Photo, and much to my surprise, the cursor kept flying through the card stacks, not stopping at the "end", whether it was at the in-hand stack or at the piles of aces. That made it much more difficult to play.

Just weird that it does that now, really. I'll send some feedback to Apple, too.

yeah that is weird. how is the ipod photo though in general? does having a colored screen make things better?

My main concern was whether it required the backlight all the time, and I was happy to see that it was legible with the backlight turned off. Good thing that they went with a transflective screen (like the Gameboy Advance) rather than the lit-or-black color cell phone screens.

Apart from that, I haven't messed with the new capabilities.
