Thanks for info. last week re: Tiger Address Book. As I mentioned then, I just updated over 1,200 contacts. I was going to spend the evening sorting them into groups but before I do so, can anyone tell me if the same groups feature remains in Tiger's Address Book? Is there a smarter/faster way to sort into groups in the Tiger Address Book?
Thanks for all feedback. |

Smart groups are a great way to sort your all contacts into specific groups.
For example, I've got a ton of co-workers in my Address Book and where I work all the phone numbers have the same prefix. So I just create a new Smart Group and set it up to look for that prefix and instantly, I have a group of all my contacts at work. It's very useful and simple. |

So would you recommend I just wait for Tiger instead of manually sorting into groups right now? Do smart groups and the better search feature make sorting that much faster/easier?

1200 of them? Yeah, I'd wait, unless you need them sorted before then.

Yes. Wait if you can.
Smart Groups and Spotlight will make sorting very easy. |
