Is it possible without reformatting for Windows use? I would just like to use it as a hard drive under Windows, and I don't need it to sync with iTunes. The idea is to transfer files onto my ipod as a firewire drive from my mac and then load them onto the pc from the ipod.
Thanks. |

Not for free.
Mac drives (the iPod included) are formatted with HFS+. You'll have to purchase software for your Windows computer in order to read HFS-formatted drives. |
