Hi all, I am currently receiving a timeout issue in my one automator workflow that I'm not sure of how to get around...first let me explain my workflow...
step 1: automator uses the "get specified finder items" command to grab a few of my folders (total size around 2.3gb) step 2: a new 2.7gb disk image is created step 3: that disk image is renamed to included a date stamp step 4: the disk image is then moved to share on my win2k file server. step 2 is what seems to be giving me the problem, after a few minutes of working a copy window appears on my desktop and shows the file transfer of (im guessing) the files from step 1 into the newly created disk image. this copy will get about half way done and then automator stops and gives me the following error: "AppleScript Error Finder got an error: AppleEven timed out (-1712) I just installed 10.4.1 hoping that maybe this was a known issue (I also submited this on the automater feedback page) but I'm still getting this error. Thanks in advance for any help! -earl |
