Well, I am completely enamored in the idea of a touch screen iPod, and am really basing my entire christmas around it this year. I dont mean to speculate because I know its not the rumors forum, but I was wondering the advice from you all.
The Mac Conference is during the week of January 9-12th, about 2 weeks after christmas. There are rumors that the new video iPod could be released then, in which case waiting the extra two weeks would DEFINITELY be worth it, but there have been estimates for the release date before and they have been wrong. I guess I'm really asking what do you all think of the probability of the new touch screen ipod being released TWO WEEKS after Christmas, and what would you do in my scenario? |

Do you have an iPod now? If so, wait. If not, get a refurb.

Well if you really want it that badly, just wait until it comes out and get it then
 If you need an MP3 player in the interim, pick up a shuffle - at $79 it won't break the bank. |
