From Egypt, on Nile cruise. April-ish 2001

Taken with an old (but wonderful) Olympus 1.2MP digicam, Fogot the model number. Was taken about 3 years ago

Also taken with same camera

I didnt even photoshop them to adjust colors and stuff...

WHY CANT WE EMBED PICTURES?????

dammit

I'm having deja-vu and amnesia at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

I love that one of Paris ZO - very nice!

I see your Paris picture, and raise you some pavement graffiti from Montpellier:

I love this thread! Those pictures are gorgeous, all of you. Here's some of mine. The third one down is directly underneath the Eiffel Tower, looking straight up.

Double exposure. The subway train passing above some compacted garbage. I just took one of the trash and then one of the train before winding the film.

Lake Manzinita, near Mt. Lassen

Somewhere off of Highway 1, I think.

California Coast, somewhere near Mendicino

Arlington Cemetery. Taken on a week-long school trip to D.C.

And does anyone know who's grave that is? I can't for the life of me remember. Its near the eternal flame.

Seattle

Crater Lake

That's my -gimme a second here- step-greatgrandfather's son's daughter. I think. My grandparents are divorced and I always get confused. I do know that it was a my grandmother's birthday in Camirillo, CA.

Alcatraz, with my dad walking up the ramp.

Geebus. Some of those are really gorgeous. *sigh*, looks like I'm going to have to fork out for a DRebel, haha.

I think the DRebel is a wonderful camera, and for its quality and compared to others in its class it really is one of the least expensive cameras. I really love the photos that it takes, if you get the in camera settings right, it can look exactly like film and with photoshop it is even easier. Plus it really is a digital camera that will probably outlast any other one since you can attach any lense that fits a Canon body. If you can, grab a DRebel

I picked up a DRebel last year just before Thanksgiving and it's just one of those purchases you don't regret. Once you see the output from this camera it makes you want to take more and more pictures!

Right now I have the stock lens and Canon's 75-300 and I feel that's probably all I'll need for quite some time.

Thanks

I am particulary proud of this one because it was taken handheld at a quarter of second at F2,8 24 mm 1600 iso. No photoshop work was done on this picture (just reducing it's size and weight).

My friend and I pretended to be tourists in our own city for a day because we were bored, and I took this one after the sun went down in Brooklyn. Notice the Empire State Building under the Manhattan Bridge...

I love all the photos. Awesome stuff, guys.
