Maybe the newly chastened Sony are prepared to be more reasonable. If this report is right, they've signed a deal with Apple re catalogue availability on iTunes Aus and Japan.
MacDailyNews still have their typically upbeat reporting style. http://www.ipoddailynews.com/index.p...es_music_stor/ Edit: Ouch, could a Mod or Admin please save me from my big fat fingers and amend the thread title...Thanks |

Eh? I read your post four times and am still confused.
For the non-Aussies out there... Here's the key quote from the original article on theage.com.au that MacDailyNews refers to: "AFTER launching in a blaze of publicity last year, the Australian arm of Apple's iTunes store has finally agreed to sell the music of major-label behemoth Sony BMG." http://www.theage.com.au./news/natio...553651592.html |

Lesson of the story?
Steve Jobs is a hardass. Sony caved in and iTunes songs are still 99 cents...Times to make a shrine to the patron saint of price fixing. Jebus Google, just buy Apple already... |
