iChat won't let me transfer files, pictures, sounds, .doc, nothing! When I drag and drop it just acts like I can't place it there and when I click "attach file" it just bonks... makes that bonk sound.

Do you have file sharing enabled? Does the person your trying to send to have file sharing enabled?
