I heard Joanie Laurer used to keep hers clipped to one of her piercings.

Just some food for thought.

Yeah, except that wasn't a Shuffle, it was a first gen iPod.

I'm no interior decorator... I'm fine with the carpet not matching the drapes, as long as we're not talking ankle-deep shag.

Yeah, but it's not like you're going to not dive in.

But anyway, I'm a brunette guy so I've never had the pleasure of mismatched flooring.

Happy Birthday, thegelding.

Enjoy your day (it's beautiful here at least). Keep up the running and biking, and make a pledge for a half-Ironman at 50!

That'll give you a personal goal and 11 years to train. (It's 39, isn't it?)

Hope you have a great birthday, g.

You are a wonderful person, and those of us who've known you for a while think the world of you.

Give your sweet dog a hug for me, and here's a birthday hug for you as well.

Have a great birthday g, you old bugger. If we see you online early tomorrow morning we will consider your party a failure.

Rock on!

awww, how sweet....

i am planning to go into big-time mid-life crisis mode....think i'll go out tonight and buy a honda s2000, hit the downtown scene and come how with a 20 year old...or two 20 year olds....

that's the main reason for the triathlon training and keeping fit, maintaining the illusion that i can handle two woman half my age, and at the same time...thank god for viagra and dim bar lighting

Still waaay too early for Kickaha to wake up on his birthday... with a hangover, that is.

Maybe a little tune will wake him up:

Tra-la, tra-la... happy Biiiiirthday, dear Kickahaaaa... happy birthday to youuuuuu.

Nup, that didn't work either. Oh well.
Next time try it while hitting a couple pots together.

A very happy 39th birthday to drewprops, on this lovely Saturday morning.

Hope you aren't planning on wearing any of your svelte-looking cardboard wardrobe for 'today', at least.

Might tend to make one feel a bit 'boxed-in', I would imagine.

Hope you have a great day.

Mac+, a very Happy Birthday to you!

Hope it isn't already *tomorrow* where you are... but where I am it's still your birthday.

Oh my. You're a Libra. What a wonderful sign. One of my very favorites.

Well, Quag, I do tend to gravitate toward the fire signs and the air signs.

The others are earth and water, both of which frequently try to put out my Leo fire.

Examples: earth=Virgo; water=Cancer.

I generally have trouble with both those signs.

I also find Scorpio (water) a little scary, because they hold grudges and seek revenge. eek!
