I remember having a problem when i had a couple of Podcasts on my 3rd Gen. ipod and didn't see them in "artists" only in Playlists, since i used to do playlists with certain podcasts.
so when i wanted to deleted them, i had to delete them in the playlist with option+Del .
fine but now i realized that there's podcasts on the ipod that i can't see in itunes since i didn't make a playlist with those. how can i delete them.
i tried Cocktail to check for hidden files on the ipod with no result.
