I like to get from point A to point B with no fluff in-between. I was thinking this morning of a new catchy name for this.

Goal
Oriented
Driver

or

GOD.

Pretty much sums up my driving demeanor.

Here I thought you'd become a cabbie and were trying to jazz it up, like janitors becoming 'sanitation engineers'...

I love the fluff in driving. I mean, I live in Vegas, so I hate actually driving anywhere, but I love stopping and exploring with friends. I love when you read a sign and you just have to stop.

Like, on this back road near my house there's this "Wiccan Superstore" ("Your one stop occult shop!") that we always just have to visit. Or else we'll randomly peruse a car dealer lot, or find a Starbucks that we haven't been to, or something like that. I mean, sure, there's someplace we have to be...eventually. But it can wait.

And then I'll be riding with someone else, and we'll see a "Wireless Toyz" or whatever, and I'm all like "Ooh, let's stop there!" and they'll be all "WTF?"

and i guess i've known it all along / the truth is, you have to be soft to be strong
