I'm working on a site with a domain already registered and hosted. I'd like to put up a temp graphic there and a little text field that people can use to put in their email address so that they can be notified of changes to the site. Any really easy way to do this? I don't think *anyone* will actually come to the site so it's got to be really simple - it's mostly to impress the clients . It doesn't need to be bulletproof. Hell, it can even just email the results to an email addy. It'd be ideal if it went into an actual database in case people *do* happen upon the site and really do want to find out more but not at the cost of my precious time . Any thoughts?

Phplist would be your best free option:
http://www.phplist.com The one that I use is ListMessenger Pro: http://www.listmessenger.com/ They also have a light version for free, but there is a limit on the number of subscribers. Hope one of those can help. |
