Dog-Matic because I can see my dogs. I hate minesweeper because I stink at it. Doesn't stop me from trying, however.

Save yourself the trouble of doing that. Next time you see a word you don't know hold down apple+ctrl+D and mouse over the word. Prepare to be amazed.

Come waste your time with me

The dictionary/thesaurus one, mostly. Oh, and the weather one too! I've only downloaded several third-party ones. Maybe I should go back and see what's out now, after several months.

What, Apple's built in one isn't good enough for you?

I know, I know. It sucks. It was a joke!

I love the gas price finder widget. Helps me support gas stations that aren't busy gouging customers.

GasBuddy can help you with that as well. I like it a bit more than the widget because it shows all area gas stations which gives me more options.

Yeah, problem is they default to twincitiesgasprices.com, which only lists regular gas. I need info on premium. Used to be there was a constant 7¢ difference between each grade of gas. Now it ranges anywhere from 7¢ to 15¢ or 20¢ per grade depending on where you get gas.

WOW... cool.. thanks for pointing that out!

It's a nice dictionary.. but it won't tell me who Mata Hari was for example so for things like that i'll use Wikipedia!

Wisho has got to be my favorite widget, it's a front-end to the WWWJDIC Japanese dictionary. I'm taking Japanese in school, and it's been really useful.

Personally, I like the Clarus the Dogcow and Apple Logo widgets. Totally useless, but fun nevertheless.

As a new user, I've found that most good widgets have good/better Firefox extension equivilents. I like the idea of the iTunes widget, but my library is on my PC (think it's a bad idea to have a music library on an iBook...). Dictionary, Wiki lookup, weather... Either they're useless to me or there's an extension for my favorite browser that does the same thing.

So this Apple logo widget...it's pretty much there just to take up space, no? Heck, I'll get it anyway.

Edit: Ugh. That's a poorly written widget if I've ever seen one

Come waste your time with me

I'm a big fan of the countdown widget. I'm currently using it to countdown to the start of the Leafs season. 51 Days, 7 hours and 4 minutes to go!
