San Francisco area finally got the 16/2 Comcast Blast package. Quite happy with the burst upload rates, though the download burst seems to be about the same.

 About right for the 4Mbps plan I'm on. However, they sent me a letter the other day saying they are upgrading me to 10Mbps for free  . |

 Just moved back to Japan. On a side note, this is with an ethernet cable plugged straight in. If I use my Airport Express, I only get between 10-12 MB. Why is that? |

just moved my youngest into her new apartment...
 slow, but not bad as she gets it free as she lives right next the the pool and the pool has free wifi... saves her 45 bucks a month as she was set up to get qwest, but now cancelled 45 bucks a month is big when you're a poor college kid g crazy is not a rare human condition everything is food if you chew hard enough |

yep....
damn out of state costs....grrrr... she lived in the dorms last year, but had some roommates issues (the first was arrested 4 times and the second had her boyfriend basically move in to their one, small dorm room...she said the room always smelled like sex and farts, and that college guys are smelly and gross...so now she is near campus, but has a studio apartment...nice for her but now me and the wife are even more worried about her... being a parent is great and sucks all at the same time g ps...last year, her first, when we moved her into the dorm it was over 115 degrees everyday for weeks in a row...it seems much nicer this year at only 105... crazy is not a rare human condition everything is food if you chew hard enough |
