Hi there

I'm looking for a way of setting up PHP & MySQL on my MacBook Pro so I can create a few scripts and link them to a database.

I can do this in work using ASP & Access, but ofcourse ... as i'm at home i'd obviously like to use a more mac-friendly way of doing things and create some nice PHP web applications that link in to a MySQL database.

I'm not interested in uploading them to the web as i'll just be doing this for fun for the time being, so if someone knows of the best Intel/Mac OS X 10.4.9 way that'd be great

Thanks,

Steve.

MAMP could be what you're looking for. The basic version is free.

Just as an alternative…

Entropy.ch is what I've always used, but the others looks a little friendlier maybe.
