Thanks Carol. I appreciate that. I will be making some more of my own cider (see past thread on that) this weekend, and I will toast cider-making process with a taste of the result of last year's pressing (just ideal now), and toast another year as well.

Happy Birthday to Kieran, Freewell, Souflay and Robo! Hope you all enjoyed your special day, maybe with a tasty dinner and some beverages that slide down oh-so-easily.
And, Robo, are you really 27 already? I seem to remember you talking about starting college classes as if it were just a few months back. Well... maybe a bit longer ago than that... but not all that much. Those born in December are under the zodiac sign of the Archer, right? I think it's a fire sign, representing people who feel compelled to speak the truth - the arrow of truth that *can* be a good thing, since "the truth" is generally an advisable stance to take; but, that sometimes can sting the recipient of the arrow, because, as we all know, the truth can be a bit tough to take upon occasion. I was just wondering if this Archer "truth-telling" trait ever plays a fairly significant part in any of your lives? Do you generally soften the truth a bit, so that it doesn't sting the recipient quite so much; or do you mostly just let that arrow fly, and let the full truth be known as you see it? This is none of my business, of course; but I was just wondering if any of you (those born in December, OR those who have friends/partners born in December) have any thoughts on the issue. Capricorn, the stubborn goat, isn't it? Stubborn, loyal, ambitious and determined, iirc. Sounds like you guys would get along well with Taurus. I think they're (Capricorn and Taurus) both Earth signs; but maybe a Water sign would go even better with Earth. Water - Pisces, Cancer and two others I can't think of at the moment. Is Scorpio a water sign? Hmmm. |
